Horse Riding at Ballyskeagh Stables

Located close to Ballyskeagh Farmhouse, Ballyskeagh Stables is a full operating riding school and livery yard. It established two years ago. The aims we have is to learn children from the age of 8 up to ride and have a lot of enjoyment by doing that.

Golfing

Locally we have the Strabane Golf Club.
Parkland course approx. one mile south of town centre. 
18 hole, 6,055 yds, Par 69. Trolley hire. Own clubs necessary. 
Green fees: £15–Weekdays, £17–Weekends Open: 8.00a.m. – Dusk. 

Fishing

The Foyle and its tributaries covering 3670sq.km and spanning the counties of Donegal, Derry and Tyrone hide fishing’s best kept secret. Every year tens of thousands of salmon, grilse and sea trout run the waters of the Foyle system, making it one of the richest fishing rivers in Europe and one of the best salmon waters in the world.

Cycling

In Northern Ireland there are presently over 600 miles of signed National Cycle Network with some 160 miles to be found in the Sperrin’s region alone. Routes have been designed to cater for all abilities, varying from leisurely spins for those on a family day out to challenging hill climbs for the more hardened enthusiast. Along the way are opportunities to enjoy breathtaking scenery, discover the heritage of an ancient land, or sample the very best in local hospitality.
